If you have diabetes you know how difficult it can be to keep your blood sugar levels stable. There are many factors that contribute to this.  Weight management, exercise, diet, medication, negative thoughts, and stress management all affect how your body manages it's glucose levels. I often call stress the silent killer because it affects so many health issues.

In people with diabetes stress can alter blood glucose levels in two ways. People under stress may not be taking as good of care of themselves.  They may skip their medications, eat too much or wrong types of foods, they may begin abusing alcohol or drugs, perhaps they no longer have the motivation to exercise. Stress hormones also can directly alter blood glucose levels.

Hypnotherapy is an effective and drug free way to teach you how to manage your stress. Stress causes your body to feel like it is under attack.  We all have areas of our lives that can generate stress.  Problems in the marriage, job, health, or finances can intensify our stress levels and force the diabetes to soar out of control.  With Hypnotherapy you have a sense of being pro active with your disease.

*Reduce Stress
*Motivation to Exercise
*Increase sense of well being
*Improve eating habits
