Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome, or TMJ for short, along with Bruxism, or teeth grinding can be very painful and destructive to teeth. Some people even experience headaches from these syndromes. These conditions should be diagnosed thru your physician or dentist and they may prescribe medication and/or suggest wearing an apparatus at night to keep damage from occurring.
